Before The World Intruded

we don´t heal in isolation. We are connected and we can feel that when we are in the process of overcoming our trauma. That is why I, Michele Rosenthal have written my memoir on how I have overcome my trauma.
My book will inspire you and help you to awaken to life. To again be able to laugh and to cry, to love and to be grateful.Yes, be grateful for all and everything that life has to offer you. You will even be grateful for the trauma that has brought you to understand what is important in life.

I , Michele Rosenthal, am a trauma survivor who struggled with posttraumatic stress disorder for over 25 years – I know what it’s like to feel the stress of painful memories. I also know what it takes to let those memories go and build a life of meaning, purpose and joy. My powerful memoir, Before the World Intruded: Conquering the Past and Creating the Future, is a bold and moving account of healing, resilience and personal discovery.

As a matter of fact, Before the World Intruded tells the story of Michele’s quest to triumph over the past — and the very unexpected way she did it. You can read a summary of the book here: http://www.beforetheworldintruded.com.

In Michele’s book you will discover how to:

1.Conquer the past, engage in the present and create the future
2.Use the power of joy to transform pain and suffering
3.Make the choice to have courage
4.Access inner strength during life’s most challenging moments
5.Construct a post-trauma identity
Reviewers of the book say:

“Whenever I feel sad that I’ve finished a book, I know I’ve been transformed by its pages. Michele’s story is incredibly moving, and beautifully written. I’m a lover of words and her prose is rich, descriptive and fluid off the tongue.” ~Deborah Serani, PsyD, Author of Living with Depression: Why Biology and Biography Matter on the Path To Hope and Healing

Michele is a courageous heroine, but she’s also very accessible. She explores the darkest days of her life with a brave, open heart, tirelessly learning painful lessons, which she shares with an engaging vulnerability. When she finally dances into a life free of trauma, we dance alongside Michele happily. I loved her generosity and humanity in this important, beautiful book.
~ Priscilla Warner, author, Learning to Breathe – My Yearlong Quest to Bring Calm to My Life

“Before the World Intruded is a transporting story of trauma and recovery. An addictively readable memoir that carries the reader along —from [the story of] a child’s exposure to a life-threatening illness, through years of post-traumatic stress, to a grown-up woman’s euphoric recovery. By the end of the book you will be crying and laughing at once, and applauding Michele Rosenthal for her courage.” Jessica Stern, Expert on trauma and terror, Author of Denial: A Memoir of Terror and Terror in the Name of God.

“The twenty-six year journey beautifully described in Before the World Intruded shows how deeply rooted trauma can become. Much can be learned by reading this book. Most importantly, Michele Rosenthal had the courage to seek an escape from the inescapable—and that is a choice that anyone afflicted with traumatic memories must make every day.” Ron Ruden, MD, PhD, author, When the Past Is Always Present: Emotional Traumatization, Causes, and Cures

Do You Really Want Your Health Back?

This is a good question. You know why?

Anxiety is a deep-rooted feeling. It was born in your subconscious mind. It shows up under various forms. And when it does show up, it brings discomfort. People who suffer from anxiety, although the feeling is scary  and difficult to go through, sometimes are so  used to having it show up that they can’t think of not suffering it. When an anxiety attack pops up,  they suffer a lot. And sometimes the sufferance is so heavy that they fear for their life.

Other people may be of help. The mere fact of being able to speak to somebody, can be a great help for the sufferer.

For me it was always a great relief. Just the fact that there was a human being around, was a great help. However, there are people who suffer  that abuse other people’s presence. I don’t say that they do it consciously. I think it is an unconscious pattern. They feel that other people tend to protect them. And they want to be protected from the “ugly world”. They might feel as being a victim of this “ugly world” If other people help them, they never have to face the real problem behind their anxiety. Maybe that they don’t even think of it.

For them it’s just anxiety: Which is the passport to other people’s help.

These are people who don’t want to get back their health. They will always think that they are in need of help, that others have to help them. I have known people like that. Don’t talk to them about how to overcome anxiety. They don’t want to overcome it.

They probably would never admit it. But this is their reality. And they do not want to change it.

Why not? You never know, it could be dangerous. They would lose the attention of people around them. They cannot renounce this attention.

But you certainly are different. You want to live an anxiety-free life. Go and grab your copy of my ebook
