Before The World Intruded

we don´t heal in isolation. We are connected and we can feel that when we are in the process of overcoming our trauma. That is why I, Michele Rosenthal have written my memoir on how I have overcome my trauma.
My book will inspire you and help you to awaken to life. To again be able to laugh and to cry, to love and to be grateful.Yes, be grateful for all and everything that life has to offer you. You will even be grateful for the trauma that has brought you to understand what is important in life.

I , Michele Rosenthal, am a trauma survivor who struggled with posttraumatic stress disorder for over 25 years – I know what it’s like to feel the stress of painful memories. I also know what it takes to let those memories go and build a life of meaning, purpose and joy. My powerful memoir, Before the World Intruded: Conquering the Past and Creating the Future, is a bold and moving account of healing, resilience and personal discovery.

As a matter of fact, Before the World Intruded tells the story of Michele’s quest to triumph over the past — and the very unexpected way she did it. You can read a summary of the book here: http://www.beforetheworldintruded.com.

In Michele’s book you will discover how to:

1.Conquer the past, engage in the present and create the future
2.Use the power of joy to transform pain and suffering
3.Make the choice to have courage
4.Access inner strength during life’s most challenging moments
5.Construct a post-trauma identity
Reviewers of the book say:

“Whenever I feel sad that I’ve finished a book, I know I’ve been transformed by its pages. Michele’s story is incredibly moving, and beautifully written. I’m a lover of words and her prose is rich, descriptive and fluid off the tongue.” ~Deborah Serani, PsyD, Author of Living with Depression: Why Biology and Biography Matter on the Path To Hope and Healing

Michele is a courageous heroine, but she’s also very accessible. She explores the darkest days of her life with a brave, open heart, tirelessly learning painful lessons, which she shares with an engaging vulnerability. When she finally dances into a life free of trauma, we dance alongside Michele happily. I loved her generosity and humanity in this important, beautiful book.
~ Priscilla Warner, author, Learning to Breathe – My Yearlong Quest to Bring Calm to My Life

“Before the World Intruded is a transporting story of trauma and recovery. An addictively readable memoir that carries the reader along —from [the story of] a child’s exposure to a life-threatening illness, through years of post-traumatic stress, to a grown-up woman’s euphoric recovery. By the end of the book you will be crying and laughing at once, and applauding Michele Rosenthal for her courage.” Jessica Stern, Expert on trauma and terror, Author of Denial: A Memoir of Terror and Terror in the Name of God.

“The twenty-six year journey beautifully described in Before the World Intruded shows how deeply rooted trauma can become. Much can be learned by reading this book. Most importantly, Michele Rosenthal had the courage to seek an escape from the inescapable—and that is a choice that anyone afflicted with traumatic memories must make every day.” Ron Ruden, MD, PhD, author, When the Past Is Always Present: Emotional Traumatization, Causes, and Cures

Do I have Low Self-Esteem?

Anxiety is often connected with low self-esteem.

There are a few questions that you may ask yourself in order to ascertain whether your self-esteem is low or not.

There are many indicators that a person has a low self-esteem.

If you recognize yourself in the following statements, you probably suffer from low self-esteem. This can be overcome and I am going to show you how.

You consider yourself unworthy of being cared for; you are fearful of conflicts with others; you badly need the approval of others; fears follow you everywhere; you are insecure, anxious and nervous when you are with others. There are many other indicators. Maybe that you find them by asking yourself some questions.

If any of these statements apply to you, you better start working on yourself to be on the right track to a normal self-esteem.. You can do this by taking small and easy steps.

Affirmations are a good means but they only work if they are “felt”. This means that you put an emotion like love into the affirmations.

By doing so you can increase your self-esteem. Feel that you are worthy of being cared for. Feel that people like you, feel that others approve of what you do and who you are. When doing affirmations look into the mirror and say to yourself that you love the person you see, that is YOU. Feel the love for yourself. You deserve to be loved by yourself. To love your Self is the first step. I know that it is not the easiest one, but it is ESSENTIAL. You are a unique and beautiful person. No-one is like you. Give love to this uniqueness and say thanks for it.

Don’t fear conflicts with others. You know that what you fear will appear in your life. This is the law of attraction at work. Whatever you fear comes into your life, whatever you love comes also into your life. The choice is yours. You certainly know which serves you better.

If you live in the moment and express your love, there is no space for anxious thoughts and for insecurity and nervousness. Maybe that you feel nervous  in  the form of aggressiveness. This will come back into your life. So choose well. If you replace nervousness with calmness, you do a favor to yourself but also to your environment.

What is Holding You Back?

Have you ever tried to ask yourself what is holding you back, keeping you stuck in your anxiety?
This is an interesting question. And you should ask it and answer it sincerely. Be honest with yourself.
You can ask you this question  using, for example,  EFT. “Although I still suffer from anxiety attacks, I love and accept myself
completely and  profoundly. However, even if I love and accept myself completely and profoundly, I want to know where my anxiety comes from. My subconscious mind will answer this question because I love and accept myself completely and profoundly”. Repeat the sentences in a normal EFT-round , This means 3 rounds on each point, then the gamut and finally another round. That makes up one whole cycle.
You may repeat these cycles various times over the day. If no  answer pops up, you repeat these sentences and cycles for as long as you are not clear about where your anxiety stems from. Once you  are certain of its provenience. You can do cycles with the following wording: “Although I now know where my anxiety comes from, I decide to  love and accept myself even more completely and profoundly and I thank my subconscious mind for its help”.
This is an easy way to understand yourself better. It is important to be completely honest with yourself. But there will be a fantastic reward. If you really want to get rid of your anxiety, you are able to let go. Letting go is actually what helps you most. You can let go only of things you know. That is why it is so important to “contact” your subconscious mind. It is your ally if you let it be.If you go against it, it will not help you. It is that easy.  Again, you see  the Law of Attraction  at work. Go in a positive direction and you will attract more positive things. Do the contrary and you will get more negative things. Letting go of anxiety is certainly a positive move. Anxiety is always negative. It is a fear for things that are on your mind or in your subconscious mind
If you clear your mind and your subconscious mind, you can stay free from anxiety all life long. However, getting clear is a life long process. You repeat the cleansing and clearing every day. It will become a daily habit and make you feel good about yourself and about the others. The above sentences are examples and you may adapt them to your own situation, especially once you know where your anxiety comes from and what it is you are most anxious about. The New Year Anxiety

The New Year Anxiety

Do you suffer from it? It is not worth your energy. Do not use your energy for something that has still to occur.
A new Year is just the change of the date. It does actually not mean anything else. Many people would like to put a warning tag on a new year. Why worry about it?  Embrace the new year. Be open for new things, for new thoughts, for new actions.
New Year’s Resolutions are hardly ever maintained. If you are very serious about something and absolutely want to achieve it, you might be willing to take a resolution. If you do, please try to stick to it whatever it takes to reach your goal. Only then is it useful. Then it is your guide for the days to come.
A New Year is neither bad not good. It is just what you think it is. Even if there are difficulties for many, these are means for  growing ,for growing as a human being. This is your  task (it’s also mine!)  Nobody has ever said that anxiety should be involved in your growing, in your maturing, in your becoming a better person. It is you  that give values to things, to facts and to happenings. It is meant that your daily life, your way of living is sparkling, is a light for others who cannot yet see the beauty of life, of the planet you and I  walk. Try to be a light for others and your anxiety will get less and finally disappear. Helping others in every possible way, helps you and me  to focus on something else. Your thoughts do not go around your fears and anxieties, but can be creative and find help of all kinds for others. Helping others means also helping ourselves. And there is no space for anxiety if you are open to be there for your neighbors.

buy Anxiety Goodbye

Make it a good year. Look forward with optimism. The New Year is as good as your thoughts about it. Make them positive.
I wish you all the best
